Pippa's Paddock Logo Designs for Website and Merchandise

I scrolled through the social media pages for Pippa's Paddock and their owners and chose my favourite photos that I thought could be turned into logos. I really wanted to show off Pippa's relationship with her horses in the logo.

I really like the flowers at the bottom of the image, and this made a great space to add text. I experimented with adding the Sicilian landscape inside the silhouette like a double exposure. This is a fun concept but not sure it would work well on clothing etc. The black silhouette could benefit from white lines and detail to show off the shape of the horse head. This would make a very pretty logo and it encaptures horse, rider and landscape.

More silhouettes of people and horses. I personally like the top row the best. The shadow on the ground in the middle image could be made into the shape of Sicily on a map and developed further. I also like the top right logo, however I feel like this sort of imagery is overused amongst horse therapists and vets.

I wanted to experiment more with the concept of a landscape within a logo. I do like how they look but still don't think they would work as a logo. They could certainly be used on a website or social media for advertisement and promotion. They could also be used on mugs and coasters as an illustration.

I wanted to try creating a more historic logo. I took inspiration for the shape of a horse from an ancient Greek coin of Sicily. I added crown detailing and a circle to add structure and somewhere to add text. I developed this further by adding a pattern of the Sicilian flag to the shape of the horse. This looks really unique and abstract, however it wouldn't work well in a small format on clothing etc. I also added colour to these concepts with the use of red and yellow from the Sicilian flag.

I wanted to develop the idea of using the shape of Sicily as part of the logo. I wanted to include a galloping horse as for many people that is the most fun part of the rides. I experimented with logo placement and I really liked the concept of using a location marker in the middle of the logo. However, I worried that this would not be clear enough on a smaller scale.

Lastly, I wanted to try combining both of my favourite logos together. I like the way it looks like the rider on the horse is watching wild horses run across Sicily.
