This blog is to show the difference between some of the photos before and after editing. I won't go into massive detail as this is not a photography course!

I made the photo black and white, increased the contrast and increased the black point. I removed the lights in the background but preferred the photo with them in.

I added warmer tones and cropped to focus on the horses head and the logo on the saddle pad.

I made it brighter, lined the hedge up in the background and cropped to a square.

I made the photo black and white and removed the background to increase focus on the horses face, in particular his eye. Cropped to keep his chin in the photo.

I increased the brightness and added warm and pink tones to this to increase the shine on the horses and make it look like golden hour. Cropped to fit the grey horse in.

Flipped the photo horizontally so the photos would work in a sequence across the page. I rotated the letter B to face the right way with the new rotation.

I removed the background and increased the saturation. Cropped to focus on the eye and the shoulder.

A lot of editing went into this one to change the background and remove the jumps but ended up keeping it simple. Most importantly I rotated the image so the fence lined up.

I made it black and white but softened the contrast. Enhanced the background to keep the gloomy clouds. Cropped to keep the head and body in shot. Looks like its a still from a video or a tv advert.

I made it black and white but increased the contrast for a dramatic effect. A different kind of gloomy day.

I made these two black and white, rotated the bottom image and lined them up so they looked like they were charging at each other.

I increased the brightness and the warmth, whilst cropping to include both horses.

I made it black and white and increased the contrast to add drama to this sweet moment.

I increased the contrast and filled in the background, whilst making one black and white and adding warm purple tones to the other.

I decreased the exposure, made it black and white and filled in the background.

I increased the brilliance, increased the warmth to remove the blue tones and removed the background. I cropped it to remove the rider.
