Inspiration for my book 'A Celebration of the Horse' with illustrations, photos and quotes.

I particularly liked the uniqueness of this book, the Book of the Horse: Horses in Art, from the contrasting bright pink spine to the different fonts used for the quotes. I also really like the style of photos used in the book, as they are mostly natural or portrait shots. Unfortunately, I have not been able to carry out my photoshoots similar to this due to coronavirus, however, I have adapted my book to suit my existing photos.

A similar to book to this is The Horse: 30,000 Years of the Horse in Art by Tamsin Pickeral. This is perhaps a more classical version of the book above, with analysis of the work rather than quotes. I particularly liked the fact that this book includes information on the breeds of horses featured in each of the pieces of art. I would certainly class this as more of an art history book. I might experiment with having facts however I don't know enough about all of the horses in my art and photos for this to be fully successful.
