On Friday, I don't quite know what it was but we were all so exhausted! The heat and the amount of exercise we were all doing must have finally caught up to us. We also had consistently late nights talking around the bonfire or out in the town. We literally slept all day until our ride in the evening. It was definitely needed, and it was lovely that there was never any pressure to do things if we didn't feel up to it. We were always given the option on what we wanted to do.

On top of the world - Assaf on Phoebe, jenny on Albi, Becky on Khan, me on Tyrone, Georgia on Enola and Christina on Toby.

The locals didn't ride in helmets or anything, which is also very different to home. I was glad I didn't bring my body protector as I would have been boiling! Some of the days they wore straw hats to help with the sun but these were not practical when galloping!

Each day I wore my GoPro, and I used a chest harness rather than attaching it to my helmet. I thought it would be more secure this way and I could adjust it more easily. It took a couple of days of playing with angles before I got the right one, as I wanted to see enough when walking but the transition to gallop meant I saw less due to my position. Here are some GoPro captures from that ride.
