On the third day we were taken to Lake Caccamo, which is a manmade lake with a dam. In weather like this back in the UK this lake would have been crowded. However the Sicilians don't really use it that much, so we were the only people who were there! There was a little floating platform that we made our camp for the day, we sunbathed there on our towels whilst Assaf went swimming. There was a pedal boat for two people that we also went around the lake in. We pedalled all the way around to the right so that we could see the dam. Stupidly I left my phone on the shore so I couldn't take any photos...

The fields and views were beautiful when up in the hills.

On this ride, we went up a particularly steep hill, which was really technical due to the surface of the ground. We were told that last year riders would gallop up this hill, but this year the ground had dried out so much that there were holes and cracks large so we had to be careful and go slowly.
Tired Ty after our ride.
